Summer 2023 Internship Wrap-Up

With summer over, we want to look back and celebrate a spectacular Summer 2023 Concussion Education & Advocacy Internship Program. In this blog post, you'll hear about:

For this summer's Concussion Education and Advocacy Internship Program, we had the pleasure of hosting 16 interns from the following colleges and universities: Bryn Mawr College, Cal Poly Humbolt, Carleton College, Clarkson University, College of Wooster, University of Delaware, University of Washington, and Western University (Canada).

Our showcases consist of 15-minute presentations from each of our interns about what they've learned about concussions and themselves, their newsletter synopses, and their projects. This summer's interns worked in teams (paired with mentors who are experts in their field) to create or update these resource pages for ConcussionAlliance.org:

Interns heard from 17 Expert Guest Speakers over the course of 8 weeks––our broadest speaker lineup yet! We also were privileged to welcome two authors of the recent 6th Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport: Chris Giza, MD and Osman Ahmed, PhD, PGDip (Sports Physiotherapy).
