Susan Klein, MD, PhD

Susan K Klein, MD, PhD, is a retired pediatric neurologist and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University. 

“Dr Klein came to the TBI space over 25 years ago, first through research (part of a TBI research team that studied cognitive and behavioral impacts of moderate to severe TBI on patients and their families). In 2015, she joined a comprehensive concussion rehab team at a children’s hospital serving small communities in Ohio. She believes that Concussion Alliance is an important information bridge to help patients and families not only cope but also thrive after experiencing concussion.

In addition to clinical and research experience, Dr. Klein brings mentoring skills of college undergraduates and medical students to the intergenerational Concussion Alliance team. She is a graduate of Smith College (A.B.), University of Pittsburgh (M.D.), and Case Western Reserve University (Ph.D), and board certified in Child Neurology and Pediatrics.
